James Liang, Partner, is a member of the Investment Committee of The CID Group and has more than 17 years of investing experience.  Prior to The CID Group, Mr. Liang was the No. 2 person in charge at China Venture management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CDIB.  At China Venture management, which is the oldest venture fund management companies in Taiwan, he successfully led the team to invest in a number of the firm's most successful investments.  From 1986-1990, he was employed as a Sales & Marketing Manager at Hewlett Packard.  At The CID Group, Mr. Liang has been responsible for operation of Skypola Optronics Corporation. 

Mr. Liang currently serves as a director of Flexium Interconnect, Exploit Technology, Gamma Optical and Koatech Technology.  He has previously served as a director of several listed companies during his tenure at China Venture Management.

Mr. Liang earned an MBA from National Cheng-chi University and BS in Chemical Engineering from Tsing Hua University of Taiwan.  He has also served as a part time lecturer at Soochow University teaching management and investment courses for 8 years.
